Married At First Sight UK expert Paul C Brunson has admitted that some couples from the reality experiment are “better off not together”.This year’s series has been the most explosive yet, with intense commitment ceremonies, volatile dinner parties and even a wife swap.

And speaking exclusively to OK!, Paul, 48, tells us it is better that certain couples did decide to eventually part ways. Responding to whether or not it upsets him when couples he and the other experts have matched up decide to break up, he says: “For some no. "They are better off not together, but there’s some you feel they could have worked out if they’d kept working at it and that is upsetting.” Kwame Badu and Kasia London recently became the latest couple to leave the E4 reality show, but the biggest drama of the series so far came when Whitney Hughes and Matt Jameson decided to ditch their partners Duka Cav and Gemma Rose and couple up together.

Both Whitney and Duka and Matt and Gemma had been at loggerheads with each other throughout their time on the show, and the couples finally split after Whitney and Matt’s cheating was revealed.

And Paul and his fellow experts – Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas – clashed when it came to discussing letting Whitney and Matt stay in the experiment.
