Luis Suarez threatened to publicly release emails from Barcelona reportedly listing the teams he was forbidden from joining prior to sealing his transfer to Atletico Madrid.
The Uruguayan is set to complete his move to Barca's La Liga rivals on Thursday in a deal worth €6million (£5.5m). But Suarez was almost forced to take drastic action to force through his transfer as Barcelona initially refused to sanction the switch.
According to , Barcelona had sent Suarez an email detailing the clubs he was not allowed to sign for on a free. The Spanish giants were keen to get the 33-year-old off their wage bill and Juventus looked to be his likely destination until a deal fell through.
