Lucas Torreira has no hard feelings towards Arsenal - and says it was "an absolute privilege" to play for the Premier League giants.

Uruguayan midfielder Torreira has headed to Atletico Madrid on loan to link up with Diego Simeone after falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners have replaced the midfielder with Thomas Partey, who left Atletico after Emirates chiefs finally activated his release clause on the final day of the transfer window.

And despite his limited game time in recent months, Torreira sent a classy message to Arsenal fans. "It was an absolute privilege playing for Arsenal these last two seasons!
