Liverpool hitman Luis Suarez has named Martin Skrtel as one of the Reds’ stars he enjoyed sharing a dressing room with most.
Suarez will return to Anfield to face his former employers in the second Champions League group meeting between Jurgen Klopp’s side and Atletico Madrid.
He was surprisingly omitted from the starting eleven in the contest at the Wanda Metropolitano, in which the Reds overcame Diego Simeone’s side 3-2 in a fiercely dramatic contest.
Suarez became one of the best players in world football at Liverpool, particularly in his final season where he netted 31 goals and 17 assists in 33 Premier League appearances.
