With just two weeks to go until Love Island returns to our screens and brings with it another dose of steamy summer flings and explosive arguments, many fans have been curious about what the new season will bring.
For series eight, the show has had a bit of a makeover, with the lovelorn singletons hoping to find romance now treated to a brand-new villa in Mallorca.
Yet the jaw-dropping mansion isn’t the only thing getting a makeover, as executive producer Mike Spence recently revealed that a change in format of the much-loved dating show is also on the cards.
One of the main changes to feature in the latest series, is the shift away from food based challenges after multiple fans got in touch to say the tasks were pretty gross.
