Lorraine Kelly appeared to have suffered a tech blunder during the latest episode of her self-titled ITV show. The morning host was forced to apologise when things didn't go to plan with the video footage on the programme.

Introducing a very serious issue regarding journalists who were recently attacked in Ukraine, a video clip was supposed to be shown to viewers at home of the terrifying scenes. However, viewers were presented with a clip from BBC drama Peaky Blinders instead.Appearing embarrassed by the unexpected footage, Lorraine apologised profusely for the blunder.

Earlier this month, chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay and his team were attacked near Kyiv and Stuart was shot as a result.Appearing on the ITV show alongside his producer Dominique Van Heerden, the pair explained to Lorraine what took place at the time.Discussing the situation, Lorraine stressed the fact that even though they tried to escape the harrowing gunshots, they didn't know where to go.And then I was hit in the lower back. "I've been hit!" I shouted. But what amazed me was that it didn't hurt that bad.

It was more like being punched, really. It was strange, but I felt very calm. I managed to put my helmet on, and was about to attempt my escape, when I stopped and reached back into a shelf in the door and retrieved my phones and my press card, unbelievably. This is a live TV story and is constantly being updated. Please refresh the page regularly to get the latest TV updates.TV & Showbiz reporters are working to source the latest information, reaction, pictures and video related to this story. You can also follow us on Twitter @DailyStar, or follow us on Instagram @dailystar to get the latest TV and celeb gossip 24 hours a day.Or like our Daily Star.
