BBC Breakfast recalling ‘feeling adrift and anxious and lost and confused’ at the start of lockdown.The 52-year-old admitted she was asked to do so many things she would have loved to have said ‘yes’ to during lockdown but had to decline.‘I was asked to do so many things that I would have loved to do but in all honesty, I was like: “I can’t pretend to be happy right now.”,’ she explained.‘I can’t pretend to be solid and be that person.

I really was finding my way to deal with it.’The former Neighbours star admitted that music was her release during those difficult times.Setting up a studio at home, she threw all her energy into finishing her latest album, Disco.‘Once I got the home studio set up, that really was a coping mechanism,’ she.
