Disney’s D23 Expo detailing the renovation of classic water ride Splash Mountain.Splash Mountain – based at both Disneyland California and Disney World in Orlando – currently involves a log flume with several drops, music and characters from the 1946 Disney film Song of the South.Woodland creatures and animatronics fill the inside of a giant faux- American landscape, but the film has come under fire for having controversial portrayals of African American people. READ MORE: Disney's World of Frozen to open in 2023 and Disneyland Paris version to follow Now, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D'Amaro has revealed brand new concept art to fans at the expo showing what the ride will look like after renovation.He showed that Splash Mountain would be renovated and remade as an homage to Tiana from the Princess and the Frog.Splash Mountain will be transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure which will light up with phosphorescent details and magical, coloured fog at night.Guests will go along with Princess Tiana on a journey through the wilds of New Orleans as she tracks down an ingredient for her restaurant’s latest party.Imagineers joined D'Amaro onstage to discuss new story details for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, coming to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort in late 2024.Several members of the original film cast will return to lend their voices to the attraction, including Anika Noni Rose as Tiana, Bruno Campos as Naveen, Michael-Leon Wooley as Louis and Jenifer Lewis as Mama Odie.The rides at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland will also unveil a new outfit for Tiana that Imagineers say is historically accurate and authentic to the character.Guests will enjoy a musical adventure, encounter favourite

Gogglebox star Tom Malone has taken to social media to share a sweet snap of himself and wife Julie on her birthday. Pilot miraculously walks away after plane crashes onto motorway and skids onto driveway
crash-landed onto a Florida motorway, walking away with just minor injuries.Remy Colin, 40, who was flying a Cessna 182 Skylane, came down on the University Boulevard and North Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando on Friday afternoon (August 19), managing to miss passing cars as he smashed into the end of someone’s driveway, with a palm tree halting his progress.Footage from a passing motorist shows the plane just missing some electricity lines before it nosedives into the ground and sliding in to the driveway, where it comes to a stop.READ MORE: UK set to be hit with 32C bank holiday scorcher as 'warm spell' sweeps through countryWitness Amanda Skuban who filmed the dramatic scenes, said: “At first, we just thought it was, like, flying really low, and then all of a sudden, it was kind of heading toward us. At the last second, it started to move toward the other side of the road.”The Florida Highway Patrol believed the crash was due to a mechanical failure but Colin, who runs a company called Aerial Messages, claimed he was distracted as he tried to fix the faulty radio, while he had also run out of fuel and lost power, while on a maintenance flight.The 40-year-old pilot, who was the only person aboard, said he chose to come down on to that particular street in order to avoid injuring anybody, although he realised his plane was probably going to be written off.He miraculously suffered just minor bruising, but he could now see his licence suspended due to his plane not being fuelled properly.To stay up to date with all the latest news, make sure you sign up to one of our newsletters here.Colin told NBC News he’s participating in the investigation by aviation authorities.
