Columbian police have said that the death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins “could be drug related”. The musician was found dead in a hotel room at the Casa Medina in the north of Columbia’s capital Bogota on Friday, 25 March.  In a statement shared by several Columbian newspapers, The Metropolitan Police of Bogata said: "The cause of death has yet to be established. “According to those close to him, the death could be related to the consumption of drugs.” The drummer, 50, had spoken openly in the past about drug use.
