Lizze Cundy has hit out at the man who was arrested for heckling Prince Andrew as he walked behind his mother’s coffin. The unnamed man appeared to shout abuse at the prince while Her Majesty’s coffin was being driven through Edinburgh to St Giles Cathedral.
He shouted: "Andrew, you’re a sick old man." The rest was muted by the BBC and the crowd of mourners. TV presenter Lizzie has crossly said that “there is a time and a place for free speech”. She went on: “Anyone that is heckled by a coffin, let alone Her Majesty's, needs to be dealt with.“It may have looked a bit heavy-handed but I think anyone heckling around the Queen's coffin should be dealt with."I know a lot of people feel that way about Andrew, but there's a time and a place and that wasn't it.”The 54-year-old added to the Daily Express: "I know they are the Royal Family but they're still a family grieving.Lizzie also pointed out that the royal family has been tirelessly undertaking public obligatiions since the Queen died on September 8 but still have to "grieve in public".
