Liverpool will reportedly complete the signing of Fluminense goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga this week with the 17-year-old set to join the Reds’ academy.Pitaluga was part of the Brazilian under-17 squad which won their age group World Cup on home soil in 2019 and is set to sign a three-year deal with Liverpool.Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been quiet this summer, with just the one new signing arriving at Anfield in the form of Kostas Tsimikas.Liverpool waltzed to their maiden Premier League title last season and are considered by many as favourites to retain their crown.They got the defence of their title off to a fine start by picking up three points with a 4-3 win over Leeds United.And Klopp is making sure he keeps his back-line on their toes.
