Little Mix 's singing show The Search is facing the axe after just one series, we can reveal. The BBC contest is said to be “at risk” after ratings dropped to only 1.6 million.
It has flopped despite being given a primetime Saturday slot.A show insider said: “There were high hopes for this show because Little Mix have such a big fanbase.“But it hasn’t worked.
To say it has flopped would be an understatement.“Top brass at the Beeb are already saying they might ditch it. It’s a shame, but 1.6 million viewers on Saturday night is a disaster.”A spokesman for the BBC last night made no comment over the future of The Search.The show has been dogged by scheduling issues.
