La Liga president Javier Tebas insists the league are prepared for Lionel Messi's exit should he quit Barcelona in the summer.
The Argentine made moves to leave the Nou Camp several months ago before opting to stay for another season. Some have claimed that his exit would dent the La Liga product.
But Tebas doesn't share those fears having seen Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo leave Spain's top flight in consecutive years. The outspoken chief also took a swipe at Manchester City, the club most heavily linked with Messi's signature.
His gripe with the English side is nothing new and he has reiterated his view that they do not operate fairly in a financial sense.
