Wayne Rooney says that while Cristiano Ronaldo is "probably" one of the best two players to ever play football, he still considers another former Manchester United teammate to be the best he's ever played with.
United legend Rooney is the club's all-time record goalscorer with 253 strikes in 559 games in all competitions across 13 years at the club, during which he won five Premier League titles and the Champions League.
These days playing and coaching at Derby County, Rooney says it is still Paul Scholes he considers the best, despite Ronaldo's status at the very top of the game alongside Lionel Messi. "Scholesy, I think, obviously Ronaldo has gone on, him and Messi, to probably be the best two players to ever play the game," Rooney
