'Murdered' university student Libby Squire was in the 'best place in her life' and planning her future just before her death.
Polish-born butcher Pawel Relowicz stands accused of raping and murdering the 21-year-old after 'stalking' her through the streets of Hull in February 2019.
Her mum yesterday opened up about how Libby had previously struggled with her mental health in a statement read out at her murder trial at Sheffield Crown Court.
Libby had made suicide attempts in the past but was in the "best place in her life" at the time of her death, her mum said. Her boyfriend Connor James-Pye also said Libby was 'the happiest she had ever been' and described how they planned to spend the rest of their lives together.
