The Mercedes driver stood on the top step of the podium after taking the chequered flag at Mugello. And just as he had before the race donned a T-shirt that also featured a picture of the 26-year-old on the back with the words "say her name".
Taylor, a 26-year-old black woman, was killed by police officers who burst into her apartment. Hamilton, who is the sport's only black driver, has been particularly outspoken against racial injustice and diversity on the grid.
