pub after just a year due to being hit with a barrage of one-star reviews complaining he's 'too grumpy’.Andy Gascoigne, 59, was branded ‘miserable’ online by villagers who also accused him of booting the darts team out of the boozer.He insists he had warned the darts team he was closing for renovations but they quit his pub.Unhappy customers also complained about Andy's ‘unfriendly rudeness’ on TripAdvisor while another punter described him as a ‘miserable bloke’.And they were furious when the ex-squaddie and former pro rugby league player brewed a beer called ‘Jog on’ in response to them.But Andy said: "They don’t like me because I’m a lad from Wakefield who’s made a bit of money and I speak my mind."Sharing a photo of his new beer on the pub's Facebook page, he wrote: 'Why not join us in wishing all the moaners, groaners or folk who just don't fall into line with the way things are at this moment in time, or is it just our sense of humour!!"Andy and his wife Mandy bought the 19th century Farmers Arms in Muker, North Yorks., in September 2020.They quickly earned five-star reviews on TripAdvisor for her cooking.
