Bolton Coroner's Court today (Tuesday, December 23). Police coroners' officer Benjamin Dobbs told the court Mr Hargreaves, of Ellenbrook, was driving along Mosley Common Road, Tyldesley, with a passenger on December 15. "He struck a nearside kerb, which caused the vehicle to veer across the carriageway into the lane of a HGV and there was a collision," Mr Dobbs said."He was pronounced life extinct at the scene by paramedics at 10.50pm."Senior coroner for Manchester West Timothy Brennand confirmed the preliminary cause of death has been recorded as 'multiple injuries'.Mr Dobbs told the court a police investigation is ongoing, but believes no charges will be brought.
