Lanarkshire nurse completes race to raise funds for seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital

A Hamilton-born nurse has taken part in the virtual RBC Race for the Kids event with her two-year-old daughter to help raise money for seriously ill children.After taking up running as a way of meeting people when she moved from Hamilton to London for work, Lynsay MacDonald soon discovered a love for the sport and has since taken part in numerous charity runs.Lynsay, a pulmonary hypertension research nurse based at the Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), completed a 10k distance with a group of eight fellow colleagues in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
