Lanarkshire group hold successful event aimed at helping people make new friends

A Lanarkshire community group recently held a successful event aimed at helping people to socialise. People's Past People's Future, who are based in Rutherglen, wanted to organise something that would encourage to socialise and have a good time.

Over 150 locals attended the bash, which was held in the Parish Hall of St Columbkille's Church.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Many people said to me that an afternoon out lifted their spirits and they felt less lonely.
