Kobe Bryant's personal assistant has revealed the tragic last-minute decision he made before the helicopter crash. The retired basketball star was travelling with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, two of her basketball teammates, their relatives and a coach, when the helicopter they were in plunged into a hill.
Kobe had been on his way to coach a baketball game in California. All nine people on board were killed, including the pilot Ara Zobayan, who - as new details have found - was believed to have been disorientated due to thick fog.
Now, Kobe's personal assistant Cate Brady has told investigators that on the day of the incident Kobe requested to fly 45 minutes earlier than his original scheduled flight.
