Six weeks before their lightweight clash on April 18, Nurmagomedov and Ferguson met at a press conference in Las Vegas that coincided with UFC 248.
After trading verbal blows for around half an hour, the two took to the stage for a staredown, taking their belts with them.
Nurmagomedov is the undefeated lightweight champion, while Ferguson owns the interim lightweight belt from the title stripped from him when a knee injury sidelined him from his scheduled UFC 223 bout against the Russian.
