Kate Middleton displayed several signs of anxiety on a recent Royal solo trip and doesn't carry the same confidence as the Queen, according to a body language experts. The Duchess of Cambridge flew to Denmark earlier this week to pay tribute to the historic ties Britain shares with the country. She is also there to celebrate joint jubilees – the Golden Jubilee of Denmark’s Queen Margrethe II and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, both of which fall in 2022.But during her trip, body language expert Judi James claims the Duchess displayed an obvious sense of anxiety.

Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "In one pose, Kate has both hands on the handle of her bag and is holding it in front of her torso in a barrier gesture that makes her less assured than she does when she is walking with the bag hanging at her side. "And when she sits at the table for her meeting at the university, she is the one in the group sitting with her hands on her lap rather than on the table like the others, giving them the edge in terms of signals of spatial dominance and status."The expert said this makes her "look a little unsure" but added "the world of the boardroom is not her natural habitat and hopefully she spread out a little as the meeting went on."Talking about the Queen's confident way of carrying herself, body language guru Darren Stanton said: "Over the years, the Queen has pretty much retained the same body language her entire life. "She has become known for sitting stoically and still, surveying situations and speaking with a clear and crisp tone, conveying her confidence, power, and the hold she has over those that are listening to her."For the latest breaking news from the Royal Family and stories from the Daily Star, sign up for our.
