Kate Middleton has revealed what "special treats" she gives to her favourite great-grandchild. The Queen has 11 great-grandchildren in total, with a 12th on the way and she has a sweet way of "showing her love" for them.
Sometimes when any of her great-grandchildren stay with her, whether it be at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Balmoral Castle or Sandringham House, the Queen apparently leaves them "special treats" in their rooms.
This nugget of inside information has been disclosed in a recent interview Kate has done with ITV.The mum to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis told ITV whilst filming the documentary 'Our Queen at 90': "[The Queen] always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay, and that just shows her love for her family", the Mirror reports.Kate went on to discuss how the Queen is particularly enamoured with Princess Charlotte, six.She explained: "The Queen was really thrilled that it was a little girl."I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington she was one of our first visitors here."I think she’s very fond of Charlotte.
She’s always watching what she’s up to."However, the Queen isn't the only member of the royal family who takes gift-giving very seriously, especially at Christmas.
