Meeting your partner’s family for the first time is always a nerve wracking experience, but it was even more so for now-Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle when she met Queen Elizabeth for the first time.
Meghan was first linked to Prince Harry in 2016, and the pair went on to tie the knot in May 2018.They’ve since welcomed two children together – Archie, two, and nine month old Lilibet.
Archie was born in the UK, while Meghan gave birth to Lilibet in California last year. Before settling down together, Meghan, 40, was introduced to the Queen by Harry, 37, and was taught a private tradition before doing so.
