dailystar.co.ukKate Garraway has revealed she is hoping to take her husband Derek Draper home to his parents for Christmas after his lengthy Covid battle.Derek, 54, spent more than a year in hospital battling coronavirus but he was released from hospital earlier this year and went home to Good Morning Britain star Kate and their two children.He now needs round the clock care but Kate said she wants to get Derek back to Chorley to see his mum and dad this Christmas, even though it may be tricky.She told Woman's Own: "The dream would be to get Derek to Chorley [with the Drapers].
At the moment, moving him is a big problem: it's exhausting for him."If not, maybe the Drapers could come to us for a big gathering, COVID permitting.
