Kanye West has clashed with supermarket giant Walmart over claims he's ripped off their logo. The retailer has lodged an objection with the US Patent and Trademark Office against the Jesus Walks rapper's logo for his Yeezy LLC.
The logo for Yeezy, which sells trainers, clothes, homeware and accommodation, is made up of eight rays. And Walmart says that the logo looks similar to their own branding, which also has rays, but they are yellow.
In the filing, the company said Yeezy's logo will lead to "confusion" and a "false suggestion of a connection" between the two firms, according to filing on April 21.
