Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has decided against sending Rhys Williams out on loan after the teenager has impressed while deputising for the injured Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
Williams spent last season out on loan at non-league side Kidderminster Harriers and, just a few months after his last game in the National League North, made his Champions League debut off the bench in the 1-0 win over Ajax.The 19-year-old has featured in every European group game so far this season and made his Premier League debut in the 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.
Williams has been praised for his contributions and, according to a report from the Sun, Klopp has decided against letting him leave on loan.
