Then they beat Jose Mourinho’s side before demolishing Crystal Palace 7-0 at Selhurst Park a few days later. As a result Jurgen Klopp’s side now have the league’s best goal difference of +17 and are top scorers having found the net 36 times this season, with Mohamed Salah scoring 13 of those.
West Brom now come to Anfield with Sam Allardyce taking charge of his second game as Baggies boss. Things didn’t go well last time out when they were soundly beaten 3-0 at home to Aston Villa.
