Jordan Henderson has praised Premier League bosses for making players feel “safe” - and promised to celebrate their title with Liverpool fans in the future.
Liverpool captain Henderson has given his backing to Project Restart with clubs set to vote through the second phase of contact training on Wednesday.
It comes after extensive talks between the Premier League, players and managers, and Henderson says top-flight stars now feel reassured after the “amazing” attention to detail.
Henderson, who took part in the players' meeting on Tuesday, said afterwards: “I have to say the measures at the Premier League and Liverpool have been superb, and I am sure other clubs across the Premier League are the same.
