Jordan Henderson has lauded Philippe Coutinho amid speculation the Brazilian will return to Liverpool this summer. The duo played alongside each other between 2013 and 2018 before Coutinho left Anfield for Barcelona in a £142million transfer.
But the 28-year-old has struggled since joining the Spanish giants and spent this season on loan with Bayern Munich. Barcelona are willing to let go of Coutinho this summer and a host of Premier League clubs are interested, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Newcastle United.
But the midfielder favours a move back to Liverpool and is reportedly willing to take a pay cut to ensure the move goes ahead.
