Man Utd flop Alexis Sanchez sees future outlined by Inter Milan chief

Alexis Sanchez has been given the chance to “show his worth” at Inter Milan when the Serie A season resumes as the Italian giants decide on the future of the Manchester United flop.

Sanchez has spent the season on loan at the San Siro having struggled at United since joining from Arsenal in January 2018. The Chilean forward scored just three Premier League goals for the Red Devils in 32 appearances despite being deadly in front of goal while at Arsenal.

The 31-year-old hasn’t fared much better at Inter, scoring one goal in 15 appearances and missing much of the season with a serious ankle injury.

But Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has opened the door to making a permanent move for Sanchez, if he can impress when Serie A returns
