Alexis Sanchez needs time to prove himself and Inter Milan should extend his loan from Manchester United, according to a former great of the Serie A side.
Former Inter striker Ruben Sosa believes Sanchez can still be a great player for the Nerazzurri, despite the fact the Chilean international has endured an injury-plagued and inconsistent season on loan at the San Siro from United.
The 31-year-old has scored just one goal in 15 appearances for Inter since United sanctioned a season-long loan last summer.
Sanchez appeared to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claimed in a press conference earlier this season that Sanchez "will come back and prove you all wrong".
