John Barnes has suggested Manchester United's recent decline is due to the current crop of stars dropping their standards - and accused them of living off the club's glittering history.
The Red Devils are in a transition period under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, having struggled for success since Sir Alex Ferguson called time on his trophy-laden spell in 2013.
Ferguson achieved unprecedented success at Old Trafford and lifted 38 trophies during his 27-year spell before retiring at the end of the 2012/13 season.
Since then, United have won just the FA Cup and Europa League in those seven years, while they face a battle to secure Champions League football next season.
