UEFA plan to play rest of Champions League 'in one host city with one-leg ties'

UEFA are planning to finish this season's Champions League and Europa League competitions with one-legged ties hosted in the same city from the quarter-finals onwards.

Both tournaments are suspended amid the coronavirus outbreak and the finals in Istanbul and Gdansk have been postponed. However, European football's governing body is planning to finish the competitions in August after domestic seasons conclude.

Portugal capital Lisbon or cities in Germany have emerged as potential locations to host all the matches for the next stages.
