Jonathan Majors appeared to wipe away a tear in his first interview since being found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
The former Marvel actor sat down with ABC News Live to discuss the New York trial and said he was “shocked and afraid” as his guilty verdict was declared.
He was convicted of reckless assault and harassment, but cleared of two other charges: intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree.
Majors, who did not testify during the trial, told Linsey Davis that he could not comprehend his conviction. He is awaiting February 6 sentencing on the misdemeanor charges. “I’m standing there and the verdict comes down.
