Manchester United have reportedly been put on alert with reports that Bayern Munich centre-back Matthijs de Ligt could be available for transfer in the summer.
United have been linked with an interest in the defender, who previously excelled under Erik ten Hag during the duo’s time at Ajax.
Reports suggest that United are looking to revamp their defence in the upcoming summer transfer window. Sky Sports Germany reports that a summer move could be on the cards for Ligt, with him falling down the pecking order at Bayern.
Min-Jae Kim and Dayot Upamecano are currently ahead of de Ligt when it comes to selection, with the Bundesliga club also on the lookout for another centre-back when the summer transfer window opens.
