A children's home owned by Real Housewives of Cheshire star has been rated 'inadequate' by Ofsted. The scathing watchdog report said it had been reported that one child being cared for at the home 'did not eat for at least two days'.

Ofsted rated the private home run by Altrincham-based AP Care Homes Limited, of which Ms Pickson, 42, is the sole director, as 'inadequate' overall, saying: "There are serious and/or widespread failures that mean children and young people are not protected or their welfare is not promoted or safeguarded and the care and experiences of children and young people are poor and they are not making progress."
