John Lewis and Waitrose have announced that they will donate a further £1.4 million to around 3,000 local charities who are helping those most in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
This brings the total amount of support given by the partnership to local communities – primarily food banks, those supporting the elderly, homeless and those most at risk from Covid-19, to over £2.7 million.
And now, John Lewis has started selling a limited-edition bone china mug to raise funds for the NHS. The £8 ‘cup for carers’ is dishwasher and microwave safe and was made in Jamestown, West Dunbartonshire, using an illustration from their in-house Design Studio.
