JEREMY Vine has been bombarded with nearly 200 Ofcom complaints after "failing viewers" with an "unbearable" Covid vaccine debate.

The broadcasting watchdog received complaints from 199 people who were unhappy about comments made on the show. It comes after The Sun’s Give Britain A Booster crusade was hailed a success by Sajid Javid.

The Health Secretary said: “This important campaign is spurring people on. “If you are eligible, please come forward for your jab as soon as possible to protect yourself and your loved ones as we head into winter.” The viewers who lodged their annoyance over several remarks regarding unvaccinated patients that are currently in hospitals across the UK.

As a result, social media was flooded with negative comments after the show shared a clip where it was discussed if the government should scrap mandatory jabs for NHS workers.
