Still Game star Shamshad Ahktar has been released from hospital after battling covid. Last weekend, pal Ross Owen asked fans to send well wishes as Shamshad, who played Navid 's faceless wife in the BBC show, when she was admitted to hospital.
It was unknown at the time why, but it has since been revealed that she was fighting coronavirus. He wrote: "Please join me in sending positive vibes and messages of love to our friend Shamshad (Meena) who’s having some health issues and is in hospital at the moment."Thankfully, Shamshad has pulled through and has returned home.Ross posted a Facebook update fans and let them know that the actress 'kicked covid's a**e'.He wrote: "Meena has kicked covids a**e.
She’s coming home today. Yasssss.
