Daily Star's biggest headlines straight to your inbox!Compact, capsule shaped accommodations that are popular in Japan are now popping up in Sussex.These pods, known as capsule hotels, are a popular option for people who want to stay overnight on a tighter budget than most conventional hotels allow for.Pod Central in East Sussex has a total of 16 "rooms" stacked in pairs, and offers the tiny pods for £30 a night.The hotel is located in Pevensey Road, which is close to the train station, cafes, restaurants and the beach.It's also not far from tourist attractions in Hastings such as Hastings Pier, Hastings Castle, Hastings Old Town and Bexhill’s De La Warr Pavilion.Each "pod" is equipped with clean bedding, a reading light and complementary.
