The petition, ‘Move the State Pension age back to 60 for both men and women’, on the official Parliament website, says this should be reconsidered, "with immediate/imminent effect", and has, at the time of writing, already gathered more than 57,250 signatures from supporters.
The milestone means it has met and exceeded the required 10,000 signature threshold needed to get an official response from the UK Government.
