Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a battle on his hands trying keep star man Paul Pogba at Manchester United next season with Paris Saint German keen on acquiring the midfielder.The 28-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract having penned a five year deal in 2016.
Man Utd then triggered a one-year extension in 2020 to tie him down for an extra season.The club's record signing would be available on a free transfer next summer and so realistically a sale has to come this window if United are to re-coup any of the £89 million they paid for Pogba in 2016.Yet PSG still remain undecided on whether to make a play for the Frenchman; these initial discussions are to try and gauge the players interest.The Athletic report that a formal bid has not.
