Fans of I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! may think that the living conditions seem brutal however, the camp may not actually be as gruelling as it appears on our screens.

Many celebs are seen to be struggling with their new surroundings from the creepy crawlies to rations of rice and beans. Jamie Lynn Spears has been visibly upset as she misses home and other celebrities have been complaining about their lack of home comforts.

They have been sleeping outside in the jungle and were even visited by a rat in the night, who tucked into their leftovers, writes The Mirror.However, fans may be surprised to know that there are a few ways the crew help keep the celebrities safe and warm.

In order to protect filming equipment, there is a roof that protects the cameras from the elements. The secret manmade roof is also used for the crew to lower down the food into the camp.And according to reports, apparently the jungle isn't really a jungle either.
