ITV breaks Ofcom rules as it rules postal voters had no chance of winning contests

ITV has broken Ofcom's regulations with some of its competitions. Red flags were found with competitions on a number of their popular TV shows on in the daytime and in the evening.

The show's competitions in question included Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, Loose Women, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, La Vuelta and X Factor : The Band.

Postal vote entries had no chance of winning the competition at all. Ofcom's investigation found viewers who had entered competitions with postal votes were excluded from the vote altogether.
