A paramedic in Italy has become one of the country's youngest victims of the Covid-19 outbreak. Ambulance worker Diego Bianco, succumbed to the deadly bug at his home in Montello, northern Italy, which he shared with his wife and eight-year-old son, authorities confirmed yesterday.
The 47-year-old paramedic had been working at the operations centre Papa Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo - a city about 30 miles from Milan -when he suddenly took ill on Saturday March 7.
After showing up a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius he was tested for the virus on Thursday, reports the Mirror . The facility where he worked was closed and sanitised earlier this week after other rescuers experienced coronavirus symptoms and were sent home.Authorities swiftly
