Toys can be handed in to the Nationwide Building Society in Church Square between 9am and 2pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10am to 2pm on Wednesdays.It is essential this year to make sure: ■ There are no second-hand toys – they must be boxed or tagged ■ Please do not wrap toys in Christmas paper Anything you can donate will be a huge help as we face an uphill challenge because of the pandemic.A lot of places that normally give to us are closed, people are not at their workplaces and many organisations or groups of previous supporters have not been meeting.Our other collection points are Morrisons supermarket in Dumfries, Tesco Extra at Cuckoo Bridge and Tesco at the Peel.
