The boss of Manchester Airport has reacted to the latest travel restrictions, saying the government is 'destroying customer confidence'.
New travel rules mean that from 4am on Tuesday, all arrivals have to take a PCR test and self-isolate, regardless of vaccination status.
The test has to be taken within 48 hours of arriving in the UK. In a tweet, the Health Secretary said: "In light of the most recent data we are taking further action to slow the incursion of the Omicron variant."
