The world was recently shaken with the news that Shane Warne had passed at the age of 52. Shane was a household name after a successful career as an Australian bowler, and fans and friends flooded social media with tributes after his unexpected death.
Shane died unexpectedly in Thailand just hours after he paid tribute on social media to cricketer Rod Marsh, who also died of a heart attack aged 74 in the early hours of Friday morning.
His ex-girlfriend Liz Hurley has since paid tribute too, writing: "I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. Ed was one of the first to pay tribute to the late star, and he shared that they'd called each other on the anniversary of the passing of Australian music promoter Michael Gudinski, who died on March 1, 2021.
